River Nile Felucca Sail & Trek ItineraryDay 1: Cairo Upon arrival in Cairo, our representative who will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. Transfer from the airport via private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel for check in and overnight. Day 2: Full day Tour in great Pyramids, Sphinx, and Egyptian Museum | Train This day starts with a guided tour in Giza, to view the daunting great pyramids Cheops, Chephren & Mykerionos. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Optional camel ride around the pyramids. Next is a close-up look at the enigmatic sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. In the afternoon a visit to the Egyptian museum. In the evening transfer to the rail station to board a 1st class sitting train and overnight to Aswan Day 3 & 4: Aswan Arrive in Aswan early in the morning. These days are free for leisure and independent activities. Optional: tour of Aswan Philae Temple. Check in to hotel and overnight in Aswan. Day 5: Aswan | Nile Felucca This day is free for leisure and independent activities. Optional: camel trek to St. Simeon's Monastery. Board Nile felucca boat and overnight onboard. Day 6 & 7: Kom Ombo | Nile Felucca | Tour Kom Ombo Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Continue sailing toward Edfu. Overnight onboard Nile felucca boat. Day 8: Nile Felucca | Transfer Edfu/Luxor | Tour Luxor Arrive in Edfu early in the morning. Visit the Temple Of Edfu. Check out of felucca boat and Transfer by private A/C bus to Luxor. Arrive in Luxor and check in to hotel. Then take a guided tour in Luxor visiting Karnak and the Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor. Day 9: Tour Luxor Trek by donkey to the West Bank and visit the Valley of the Kings. Overnight in Luxor. Day 10: Luxor | Final Departure Breakfast and check out of hotel.
