Egyptian Belly Dancing CoursesDay 1: Once you arrive in Cairo, our representative will be there to meet with you and will assist you through passport control regulations, identifying your luggage & portage. From the airport you then be transferred by a private carr or mini-bus to your hotel to check in and overnight. Day 2: After breakfast your day will start with an early 2-hour dance course Afterwards in the afternoon, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Giza to view the legendary and awesome Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerionos - popularly known as the Great Pyramids of Giza. These are one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Our next visit will be to a papyrus gallery. Here you will learn more about the ancient art of painting on papyrus paper & enjoy viewing this marvelous collection of artwork on display. Afterwards, you will be transferred you back to your hotel and the rest of your evening is free for leisure. Overnight in Cairo, Overnight in Cairo. Day 3: After an early breakfast you take a 2-hour dance course. Your guide for the day will pick you up in the afternoon and transfer you to the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, which was established in 1902 near the city center in Cairo. In this museam, you will find a rare collection of art that is over 5000 years old — the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts can be seen here, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of jewelry, treasures and gold as it was enclosed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920’s when his tomb was excavated. You day will not be complete without a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar that dates back to 1382. The shops here are renowned for their legendary fine brassware, perfumes, copper, silver, perfumes, leather, gold, antiques and more! Be prepared to bargain here because everything here is negotiable. At the end of the tour transfers back to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Cairo. Day 4: Free day for leisure with optional tour to Alexandria. Overnight in Cairo. Day 5: After breakfast, you take a 2-hour dance course. The rest of the day is free for leisure. We do highly recommend one of our optional tour extensions ie the Nile River Dinner & Show cruise or Sound & Light show at the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo Day 6: Your day will start with an early breakfast at the hotel and your final 2-hour dance course. We then take a half-day trip to Coptic Cairo in the afternoon, which is home of some of the oldest Christian churches in the world. We will have the privilage of retracing the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. We will also take a tour to the Hanging Church, which is also known as El Muallaqa dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Experts believe that it was built at the end of the 3rd century. On the outer wall you will see the Greek Church of St. George. We will also visit the Church of St. Sergius, which represent s a perfect example of Coptic churches & monasteries. This church was built at the end of the 4th century and it stands on a crypt that is said to have sheltered the holy family during their flight from Egypt. At the ends of the tour transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Day 7: Free day for leisure. Overnight in Cairo. Day 8: Following breakfast at the hotel our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
